Beyond the Fog

The hills are shrouded in an early morning fog. The marine layer hangs out in the mornings and then leaves by the early afternoon. We celebrate this cool beginning with a palette of calming neutrals.

This piece is part of a new collection called "Change of Seasons." The designs are created with alcohol inks and air. The medium is one that is in constant motion just as life in Napa Valley is always evolving. The artwork is focused on color, texture, and flow. The series is relaxing to paint and to view. Viewers get pulled into clouds of color and shapes inspired by nature.
